The JPIAMR has launched a round of consultation on antiparasitic and antiviral resistance. The information will be used for outlining research and innovation priorities in the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) on Antimicrobial Resistance and informing the scope and direction of the candidate One Health AMR partnership. 

The review “Tackling the emerging threat of antifungal resistance to human health” has been published in the April edition of Nature Reviews Microbiology. The review was written by the expert group on antifungals that led the broadening on the JPIAMR Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda in 2021.

The JPIAMR has launched a round of public consultation on the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) on Antimicrobial Resistance in preparation for the One Health AMR partnership.

The JPIAMR Activity Report that was published today summarises the JPIAMR achievements and major events for the year 2021.

The transnational project call Disrupting drug resistance using innovative design is now open. The call aims to improve the treatment and/or prevention of bacterial and fungal infections. It involves 27 funding organisations from 18 countries and the total estimated call budget is about 19 million Euro.

The outputs, outcomes and the impact generated by the projects supported under the 2016 JPIAMR joint co-funded call “AMR Transmission Dynamics have now been published in a report. The report highlights the effect of supporting excellent science through transnational research collaborations.

We are pleased to welcome Chile as a new member of JPIAMR. Chile’s participation in JPIAMR is part of the country’s determination to become an active contributor to the world’s efforts to tackle the global challenge of AMR.

It is with great pleasure that we acknowledge that JPIAMR officially celebrates ten years as an international collaborative platform. From its inception in December 2011 until today, JPIAMR has achieved and exceeded its mission to coordinate national funding of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) research, guided by a shared strategic research and innovation agenda.

We are pleased to pre-announce the transnational call “Disrupting drug resistance using innovative design”.
The call opens in January 2022 and aims to improve the treatment and/or prevention of bacterial and fungal infections. It involves 26 funding organisations from 17 countries and has a total estimated call budget of 17 million Euro.

JPIAMR is launching the call Diagnostics and Surveillance Networks in April 2022 with the aim to assemble networks of leading experts and stakeholders with an intent to facilitate the development, optimisation and use of diagnostic and surveillance tools, technologies and systems.
