Mats Ulfendahl (born 1959) is Secretary-General for medicine and health at the Swedish Research Council. He obtained his PhD in physiology at Karolinska Institutet in 1989. In 2004 he was appointed professor of experimental audiology and otology (Karolinska Institutet) in 2004. He was director of the Center for Hearing and Communication Research from 2002 to 2010 when he was appointed Secretary-General. He is the Swedish representative on the management boards of JPIAMR and JPND.
