World-leading researchers, experts, stakeholders and funders gathered in Stockholm, Sweden, on 7-8 May for a conference to highlight the impact of 10 years of transnational AMR research supported by JPIAMR. During the conference, 135 participants from 30 countries came together for presentations on research outputs and outcomes and further discussions, creating a unique opportunity for knowledge-sharing across disciplines and sectors. The conference also marked the milestone of the JPIAMR transitioning to the European Partnership on One Health Antimicrobial Resistance (EUP OHAMR).

The programme included scientific sessions, keynote talks and poster pitch presentations from JPIAMR supported projects and networks, as well as thematic group discussions in a world café format (picture below).

One of the many highlights from the conference was the performance from LIFELINE the Musical, followed by a discussion with Prof. Dame Sally Davies, Special Envoy on AMR for the UK, and Irene Norstedt, Director, DG Research and Innovation, European Commission, on novel science communication and One Health.
