JPIAMR aligns collaboration and coordination of research programmes and designs a future research strategy on AMR areas that can benefit from joint efforts across Europe. Those research priorities to be addressed over the next ten years through EU-wide investments and activities are outlined in the JPIAMR Strategic Research Agenda (SRA), launched in Brussels on April 3rd, 2014. Those priorities were identified through a series of Scientific Advisory Board workshops and Stakeholder Consultations.

Internationalisation

The AMR challenge needs a global approach. Consequently, the objective of this group is to expand the basis of the joint programming activities and assume a more global approach.

JPIAMR also closely collaborates with WHO on developing their AMR Global Research Agenda in the framework of the WHO AMR Global Action Plan.
