The JPIAMR held its 39th Management Board meeting in Rome, Italy, on 18-19 March where members from over 20 countries met to share information and to discuss the planning and progress of the future European Partnership on One Health AMR (OHAMR).
In the frame of the meeting, a workshop on the future OHAMR Partnership Work Packages was conducted together with representatives from additional countries that have expressed interest to join the OHAMR partnership.
This was the last physical JPIAMR Management Bord meeting before the launch of OHAMR in the spring of 2025 and also the last meeting for the Head of Secretariat Laura Marin, who will be leaving JPIAMR in April, 2024.
The Management Board thanked Laura for more than 10 years of great contribution and instrumental efforts in making the JPIAMR successful and being recognised as a key actor in the coordination and support of international AMR research.
Patriq Fagerstedt will be the Acting Head of JPIAMR Secretariat, temporarily.
